Meet the Doctor!

My name is Daniel J.Tramble
My adventures in tube amps began in 1986 when I converted my parent's floor model tube stereo to a guitar amp (it had the most lovely overdrive to it)! When I wanted more power, I bought a Hiwatt DR 103 Canadian edition. As a teenager, I was always fiddling with those tube amps. It's addictive!
Throughout the pre-internet age of the 90’s, I continued to alter and tweak my amps.
Fast forward to 2013 and I found myself back in bands and playing music. I went through several different model amps and yet I couldn’t find the sound I was looking for from my older amps and earlier Marshall and Fender type amps. Anyone who has owned an older classic Fender Tweed, Blackface amp, or an early Marshall plexi-type amp, knows what I am talking about. The new amps cannot emulate those older essential sounds. Those amps have a certain dynamic response and feel.
I built my first scratch build Marshall style amp in 2014. When I powered it up, checked it out, then performed a play test, I was hooked from the very first chord. It was instant heaven!
Since 2014, I have built several amplifiers. I am lucky to have models all over the USA and Canada and even in Europe! I have been very fortunate to have supplied my amps to several professional recording artists from Canada such as Barry Stock (Three Days Grace), Keith Scott (Bryan Adam's Band), John-Angus MacDonald (The Trews) , Michael Archibald (Relic Kings) and Jordan Welbourne (W3apons) to name a few. Hearing these reputable musicians using your amps is a very rewarding experience.
My motto since I have started my business is simple; service everyone and treat them the
way I would expect to be treated. This principle so far, has worked for me. I am a single man operation,
and I work one on one with my clients. I strive to provide, what I like to call “old school service”.
Thank you for checking my work out. If I can be of any assistance, please feel free to contact me.
Thanks and best regards,
Dan!
